All Things New

Lots of new things are going on in my life. I started teaching in Sioux Falls, on Wednesday, February 5. So far the two schools are going very well! The lady I took over for was very organized and detailed. She left daily lesson plans as well as all of the information I would need! I will be planning and preparing for the spring program so that will be the biggest test for me. The program is a mini-musical called Heroes of the Faith. I am very excited to begin working on this next week with some of the students!

Today I am busy packing up my apartment in Aberdeen, as I will be moving out in the next couple of months. But, I will not be here much before then, so I have to have it all packed up now! It's weird to be packing up but not moving for a few months. 

I am also continuing to apply for various jobs for the fall. There are many more music jobs in South Dakota than in Minnesota at this point. The SD website is much easier to use than the MN one, which can be frustrating at times. 

Today is Valentine's Day! I am excited to be spending the evening with Brandon. We are planning on going to Perkins and using up some coupons for a free appetizer. I am looking forward to some "warmer" weather this weekend. Hopefully the weather will be good for my drive back to Luverne on Monday. I'll plan on being back in time for the Bachelor!
